The Education and Training Boards (ETB) works with the DCYA, as a strategic partner, to deliver UBU Your Place Your Space across the country.
The ETB Youth Officers play a crucial role supporting, developing and monitoring their local youth services. The Youth Officers engage directly with the youth organisations in their area to provide support and guidance.
Using the Area Profile Needs Assessment and Service Requirements Tool (APT) Youth Officers identify gaps in youth service provision in their ETB functional area. This gap analysis forms the basis for service provision by youth services.
